2020 Town Plan of Conservation and Development - Community Workshop

As part of the update to the Town Plan, you are invited to a community workshop presented by consultant Milone & MacBroom, Inc. on Monday, September 9th, 2019, 7:30 pm in the Weston Middle School Library, 135 School Road.
The workshop will focus on open space, pedestrian connectivity, sustainability and housing.

What does the future look like for Town Center?

Milone & MacBroom Inc. (MMI) presented their findings and recommendations for the Town Center to the Planning & Zoning Commission on June 24, 2019. This project is a key element of Weston’s Town Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) update.

The Planning & Zoning Commission held two workshops with our consultants, Milone & MacBroom.  They shared with the public their preliminary thinking regarding the future of our Town Center and engaged in a collaborative process with the public to hear public comments regarding, and to refine, these ideas.

Nature Conservancy’s Katharine Ordway Preserve (off Goodhill Rd) is closed until further notice due to reports of aggressive coyotes which are likely denning on the preserve. No visitors are allowed during this time. Please call the Animal Control Officer (Mark Harper) to report coyote incidents at 203-222-2642. The Nature Conservancy may be reached at 203 226 4991 ext 116

As the temperatures rise, Animal Control Officer Mark Harper wants to remind you all that it is very dangerous to leave your pet in a hot car, even with the window cracked open. Please leave your dogs home in the cool house when you go out. This will be strictly enforced in town to prevent pets from suffering from heat stroke and possibly death.
